HOSTED BY FIVE PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS
Join AIA Atlanta, ASHRAE Atlanta, CSI Atlanta, IIDA Georgia, and USGBC Georgia for our annual holiday celebration! This year we will be engaging through a virtual event.
Our program will include an innovative holiday Decorate Your Space (DYS) contest. The DYS contest finalists will be showcased during the program and the three lucky winners will be awarded prizes.
The Red & Green Scene serves as a charity initiative. All of the proceeds from the 2020 event will go to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

CONTEST DETAILS
Get inspired by one of our three themes (nature, equity, or recycle) and decorate your space based on the theme of your choice.
The space should be the interior or exterior of your residence (Computer background, Front porch, living room, yard, etc.). Take a short (30 seconds or less) recording of your decorated space, submit the video, and complete the form located at the link below. You will include a short description of what you’d like the judges to know about your space.
All entries are due by the end of the day on December 7, 2020. All videos will be judged based on creativity, execution of theme, and following the contest criteria.
The finalists will be showcased during the program and we’ll announce the winners live.

In this crowd, there is no shortage of opinions. Make sure to tune in and see all the different holiday spaces so you can cast your vote for what you think the best is, in our PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD.

FOOD BANK CHALLENGE
In an effort to help people that have been affected by the pandemic this Holiday Season we are challenging all of the members of AIA, ASHRAE, CSI, IIDA, and USGBC to donate money to the Atlanta Community Foodbank using one of the buttons below. We would like to make this a fun competition between our chapters to see which organization can raise the most money. We are challenging each organization to raise a minimum of $5,000 so please help us meet and beat that goal. During the live event, we will be announcing the winning organization. We hope that you will participate and help those in need during this holiday season.

This is a lighthearted event, so as long as your holiday sweater or vest is over-the-top and ugly, you’re good to go. Rule of thumb: if you have to ask, “Is this ugly?” it’s probably not ugly enough. Consider adding more decorations or a 3D element. Wacky and tacky sweaters have long been a feature of the holiday season, so reach deep into your closet and pull out that gaudy garment that’s both festive and hideous and join us for a night of holiday fun.
